My Client-First Philosophy

I believe one should engage in an advocation for which there is truly a love.  The love of the business will propel you through tough times and sustain you comfortably during good times. 

Real estate is that passion for me.  I love this business, even during the rough times, which don't last long. My clients are never an imposition.  They are the reason for the business. 

My objective is to sit with my clients to understand their goals and dreams. How else can I be of value to you if I have no clue about your needs? This initial meeting tends to save time, minimize frustration, and forms the basis for a mutually trusting relationship.  People tend to do business with people they know and trust.  This meeting allows you to evaluate me and determine if I can be of service to you.  Likewise, it gives me and opportunity to determine if I can successfully meet your needs.  If we both determine there is mutual benefit in forming a relationship, all the technical aspects of finding the right property, negoiating and closing the transaction are much easier.

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

 That said, in my experience as a Hampton Roads real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

 

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, with better results for my clients. Technology has also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
